Admission Procedure For Admission Into Aeronautical Engineering, AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) & Integrated Course

The admission procedure in aviation at the School of Aeronautics goes beyond looking for academically accomplished students. For each new session, we aspire to bring passionate and intellectual students with diverse backgrounds, looking at their accomplishments both in and outside the classroom. The application form is designed to let you showcase what is special about you.

Required Documents (At the time of Joining)

Documents in original to be brought at the time of joining (if not submitted)

  1. 10 photographs of students (having a white background).
  2. One photograph of parents(i.e of Father & Mother both)/Guardian, for girls students both parents & guardian photographs are required
  3. 10th Class Mark Sheets, Pass certificates & Admit card
  4. 12th Class Mark Sheets, Pass certificates & Admit card
  5. Migration Certificate from passing out Board/School Leaving (Transfer) Certificate
  6. Diploma Mark Sheets & Pass certificates (for Diploma students only)
  7. Aadhar Card of the student
  8. Caste Certificate
  9. Domicile Certificate.
  10. Income Certificate (for income less than 8 Lakhs)

Note:

  1. Applications which are either incomplete or unaccompanied by prescribed fees are liable for rejection.
  2. Students may be called for an Interview/SOACET Exam, depending on the number of applications received.
  3. If the student qualifies for the Interview/SOACET Exam a seat is provided to him/her & he/she will be required to pay the admission fee within the stipulated time.
  4. If a candidate fails to deposit the fees, admission shall be given to the next candidates on the merit waiting list to complete the intake. Such candidate will have to deposit their fees on or before the scheduled date and time for admission to the relevant course.

At the School of Aeronautics (SOA), we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy to ensure a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment for all students.

Prohibited Activities at SOA

Ragging & Bullying – Strictly banned under the Anti-Ragging Act. Violators face legal or disciplinary action.
Tobacco, Alcohol & Drugs – Consumption or possession is prohibited and punishable under IPC regulations.
Indiscipline & Misbehavior – Disrespect toward faculty, staff, or peers, indecent behavior, or discrimination is not tolerated.
Damage to SOA Property – Students are responsible for maintaining campus infrastructure. Any damage will result in penalties.
